When I was a kid, my father used to load the whole family up in the car on the weekend and drive us to the DC convention Center or to the DC Armory and take us through trade shows. I used to like the shows because the vendors were always giving away free samples of food and drinks, and there were demonstration of new and exciting things. That was probably the first time I was exposed to pop up displays and I remember some great displays, like the life size cut out of a NASCAR driver.

Nowadays, I see pop up trade show displays in a lot more places. We have a lot of trade shows and conventions here at the beach, with many of them out in public or free to the public. I’ve seen displays on the Boardwalk during shows and festivals. I see them in convenience stores (still a lot of life size NASCAR drivers – some things never change!) to promote the sales of beer, sodas or candy. I see them in the grocery store for seasonal items, like candy for Easter this weekend.

Since I’ve just raised your awareness of pop up booths and displays, keep your eye open and write me comment of where you see them in your neighborhood or daily life. I’d like to know. I bet they are all around you and you’ve never really paid attention to them.

It seems that there are a few things in life that can make you crazy. One thing that always used to make me mad was my printer. It was always running out of ink when I needed it most. There are always a lot of options when it comes to cars. Another idea I had was that Don may want to consider purchasing a smart car. While they are tiny, they are easy on gas and can be parked even in the tightest of spots. I had fun helping Don out and hope he will enjoy his new car as much as I enjoyed finding one for him.

The main area in our house that is used the most is our kitchen. It seems that everybody always ends up there at some time or another. It’s the central place where everyone meets. The problem is that it tends to get cluttered as everyone leaves their stuff there. The kids leave their books on the table and the mail always ends up there too. That’s why we needed to clear up some space in order to accommodate everything.

One thing I noticed was the large amount of spices on the counter. I thought that by getting a spice rack we could save some space. There are a lot of different kitchen spice racks that you can purchase to help in this effort. I only needed to find the right one. I went online and looked up spice racks.
