The work that I do requires that I do a lot of traveling. Since our main office is in Virginia and our next biggest office is in North Carolina, I do a lot of traveling between the two. I often have to meet clients and keep them entertained when we are done with our meetings. One great way I’ve found to do this is to take them golfing. There are many courses in the Myrtle Beach area.

It’s really worked out well so far. The only problem I had was ensuring that I would be able to secure the tee times I needed. That problem was solved for me when a friend of mine told me about a site called www.48hourteetimes.com. It is on this site that I am able to determine what times are available on which courses. This makes it easy to make plans on short notice.

I have met many clients and had good results with this tactic. I take them golfing and keep them entertained. It often works out that I end up with their business and that looks good with the big bosses upstairs. It’s all thanks to the ability to get 48 hour tee times. The other bonus is that I get to play quite a few rounds of golf and I have no problem with that!

Every now and then it’s good when you can combine two of your favorite things into one. I recently had the chance to do just that when I got to travel and play golf. My family and I had decided it was time for a vacation and we all agreed that a Myrtle Beach hotel was where we wanted to go. We all like the area and the beach is always enticing to us.

In order to ensure that our trip would go smoothly, I decided to find out all the information I could about our destination. I found a site called http://www.grandeshores.com that provided the info I was looking for. It was there that I found out about the Myrtle Beach vacation deals that were available. It was easy to see why the place is so popular. There are so many things to see and do.

My wife likes the fact that she can lay on the beach and work on her tan. Sometimes she catches up on her reading or listens to the radio. The kids love getting in the sand and playing games with all the other kids there. As for myself, I can be found on one of the many golf courses that are in the surrounding area. All in all, the whole family has fun and I am glad to know that we can always come back next year.

The New York Yankees lost their chief today as owner George M. Steinbrenner died from a massive stroke this morning. He was 80 years old and is known for his leadership in the baseball realm as the owner of the Yankees. Known to many as “the boss” George went through many managers during his stint as the owner.

As the owner of the club since 1973, he compiled an amazing record of 7 World Series Championships and 11 American League Pennants. Known to all as a generous man, the baseball world will miss him as well as his surviving family.

Congratulations to Graeme McDowell who is the champion of the 2010 U.S.Open. After an exciting four days of ups and downs for the field, he emerged at the top of the field on Sunday. He stood on the 18 green and took it all in after realizing that he was going to join the long list of famous names who have won the tournament.

Tiger Woods finished tied for fourth with Phil Mickelson. The field struggled with the windy conditions throughout the tournament. It was a victory that was well deserved and I hope he enjoys it!

All those who follow the game of golf understand that for many years, Tiger Woods was the king of the sport. Over the last year since his troubles at home began, he has struggled to regain his former dominance. This continues to be the case at this year’s U.S. Open. His opening rounds do not reflect his former greatness.

We all know that the extra scrutiny by the media on his personal life has played a role on his struggles. He has also been dealing with a number of injuries that have slowed him down. Despite all these impediments, his true fans believe that he will once again regain his former dominance!

Some of these people are users of drugs and alcohol as well. This has caused many accidents and has citizens upset with the situation. A unique answer has been found to the problem.

Authorities have announced that they will build a 3 million dollar race circuit in Kelantan for the racers to use. They hope that this will provide a place for the racers to race their cars and bikes safely. I think it’s a great idea and hope it will work!

There may be a new trend coming in the world of football. It seems that some colleges have begun coloring their fields to match the colors of their team. The first to do so was Boise State who installed a blue colored field for their team. In order to follow suit, Eastern Washington plans to have a field of red for their team to play on. I can’t imagine how much further this trend will go, but maybe we’ll see other innovative trends like this in the future.
