The country of Japan is in turmoil. After the tsunami of last year when some nuclear plants were inundated there has been much debate. The government is now planning to force some nuclear plants to shut down after a period of 40 years. They are saying the plants are not as safe as they once were. Some though, have a different opinion.

Extensions to the plan may be in order. If the nuclear plants can prove that they are still safe, they may be allowed to keep operating. The demands on power use are influencing this decision as millions of power customers still need lights and heating. We will have to see how the government of Japan handles this situation.

One thing about the internet is that it is always changing. I remember when it first started for me and it has come a long way since then. I was just growing up when it started. It seems that there is a rift between the countries of the United States and China. The trade war is escalating and the stakes are getting high. Many senators and congressmen agree with the president’s opinion. The talk is tough and we will have to wait until things are worked out between the two countries to see the final result. I am personally tired of China playing games and I hope that our politicians will stand up for our country.
